Infrastructure and data center

Data center services

Fewer, better-run data centers. Whether you're bringing scattered server rooms together, standing up new capacity or need the one you have run properly, we cover the whole life of the data center.

What's included

  • Consolidation: inventory and dependency mapping, fewer servers and sites, migration in planned waves, decommissioning and secure disposal of retired equipment
  • Implementation: rack and stack, cabling, server, storage and network build, configuration, acceptance testing, as-built documents
  • Monitoring: servers, storage, network, hypervisors and environment (power, temperature, humidity) on one dashboard, watched by our operations desk
  • Administration: day-to-day operation, patching, firmware, capacity, users and access, under an agreed change process

Consolidation

  1. Discover: inventory and dependencies
  2. Rationalise: retire, combine, virtualize
  3. Plan waves and rollback
  4. Migrate wave by wave
  5. Decommission and dispose securely
  6. Run and monitor the new estate

Who it's for

  • Companies with servers spread across several rooms or sites
  • IT teams short of time for daily operations
  • Businesses facing a hardware refresh or a move

What you get

  • Inventory and dependency map of what you run
  • Consolidation plan with waves, dates and rollback
  • As-built documents and a runbook for each system
  • Monthly operations and capacity report

Questions

Will consolidation cause downtime?
Each wave has a planned window agreed with you and a tested way back; most services move with a short cut-over.
What happens to the old equipment?
We wipe it to a recognised standard or destroy the drives, give you certificates, and recycle through authorised e-waste handlers.
How much can consolidation save?
It depends on the estate; fewer servers and rooms usually cut power, space, licences and support. The discovery report gives your figure before you commit.
